I have been keeping poultry and waterfowl for years on my livestock farm. I started off with a chickens in my back garden and since being in Pembrokeshire, I have taken poultry courses introducing people to a fascinating hobby of keeping poultry. I tailor the session to what you want to know and you can see the birds and find out the practicalities of keeping poultry.
Keeping poultry can lead to new friendships and some people get the showing bug. I had some birds win prizes this year at the Welsh national in January and the Spring Show in April. There are so many breeds to choose from and we have several rare breeds of chickens, ducks and geese you can see and learn about.

Spring is fast flowering in the hedgerows and our drive is smothered in many primroses, a few early violets, a few late daffodils and optimism for the new lives been born, lambs and a few calves.
